❓ Frequently Asked Questions

When should I renew my certification? +
We recommend booking your recertification 30-45 days before your expiration date. Your new certification will start from your visit date, giving you a full 210 days. If your certification has already expired (within 30 days), you can still renew via telehealth.
What do I need for the video visit? +
Required: Florida photo ID, stable internet connection, and a device with camera/microphone. Location: You must be physically located in Florida during the visit — this is a state requirement.
How long does the video visit take? +
Recertification visits typically take 5-10 minutes. Dr. Falcon will verify your identity, confirm you're still benefiting from treatment, and update your certification in the MMUR system.
Can I change my dosing or routes? +
Yes! During your recertification visit, you can discuss any changes you'd like to your recommendation — including adding or changing routes (oral, inhalation, smoking, topical, etc.) or adjusting your THC/CBD dosage.
I'm a new patient — can I use telehealth? +
No. Florida law (F.S. 381.986) requires your first MMJ certification to be an in-person visit. Once you've been certified in person, all future recertifications can be done via telehealth. See our Tour Events below for in-person options.
